“Graduation Day of Big Dreamers” – An Unforgettable Farewell for Our Young Scholars

Held under the motto “Graduation Day of Those with Big Dreams,” this special ceremony was dedicated to celebrating the achievements of our young scholars and witnessing together their important step into a new chapter of life.

The event began with a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs who gave their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, followed by the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Afterward, the students presented a vibrant series of performances including:

• Traditional national dances performed by boys and girls,

• A stage presentation illustrating the fusion of science and rapidly advancing technology – featuring the use of drones and modern tools in lessons,

• A dramatic piece dedicated to the longing for homeland,

• And a captivating play titled “To Read or Not to Read.”

In the official part of the ceremony, Shamil Sadiq, Founding Director of Hədəf STEAM Lyceum, congratulated the young graduates, wished them success in their future endeavors, and – following tradition – presented them with national gowns, caps, and plaques.

Outstanding graduates were also invited on stage. One of them was Fatimə Yaqubzadə, who scored 298 points in the final exam, achieving the highest result in the lyceum’s history and earning the title of “Hədəf Scholar.”
To honor Fatimə, the Chairman of the YAŞAT Foundation, Mr. Elvin Hüseynov, attended the event as a special guest and presented her scholar’s cap, wishing her continued success.

Another distinguished graduate, Abbas Abdulzadə from the 9th grade, scored 297 points, received a 100% scholarship from Hədəf in the entrance exam, and stood out for his active participation in academic olympiads and social projects. He was congratulated on stage by public figure Akbar Aliyev.

Honored guests and the proud parents of the lyceum also shared their heartfelt messages with the young scholars.

At the end of the official ceremony, the “Young Scholar’s Oath” was recited. The artistic part of the event continued with a cheerful and festive program.

This unforgettable ceremony once again demonstrated that Hədəf STEAM Lyceum plays a crucial role not only in providing academic knowledge but also in shaping character and values, preparing its students to step confidently and responsibly into society.
