Award Ceremony for the "Book of a Martyr" Project Held
Instilling patriotism and fostering national and moral values among students are key objectives of many projects within the Hədəf concept. The "Book of a Martyr" project is an essay-book competition held from December 15 to February 15, aiming to honor and recognize the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The initial presentation and promotion phase of the project took place from January 13 to 17. From February 17 to 21, the essays submitted for the competition were evaluated by the Azerbaijani Language and Literature and Russian Language departments under the supervision of the academic director. The evaluation process considered the content of the books, writing standards, and design skills.
Today, the award ceremony for the competition was held at the Nasimi campus of Hədəf STEAM Lyceum. Dedicated to the memory of the martyrs of January 20, the Khojaly tragedy, and the Second Karabakh War, the event began with a minute of silence in tribute to the fallen heroes.
The event was attended by the management of Hədəf Lyceum, teachers, students, and guests. Among the speakers were Executive Director Vali Velizade, Secretary of the Book Commission Narmin Salimova, Library Director Zakiya Mammadova, Science and Education Advisor Ms. Fidan, and Murad Hasanli, who served as the acting director for a day. They emphasized the significance of such patriotic projects and wished the participants success.
The awards and certificates for third place were presented by Nizami Huseynov, second place awards were handed out by Vali Velizade and Murad Hasanli, and the first-place winner was honored by the founder of Hədəf Companies Group, Shamil Sadiq.
At the end of the event, participants shared their impressions about the project, and a group photo was taken as a memory of the occasion.
