At Hədəf Lyceum, the 70th anniversary of Püstəxanım Safarova, a long-standing educator known for her pedagogical contributions, was celebrated as a team event. During the ceremony, her contributions to education and her rich life journey were especially highlighted.
Püstəxanım has been working with us for 8 years—since the very first day of the lyceum’s establishment. Prior to that, she actively participated in the development of public schools, as well as the founding of the World School and the European Azerbaijan School, making significant contributions to the advancement of education.
The honored teacher has never let her age show, thanks to her energy and attitude toward youth. She is a pedagogue who can communicate sincerely with people of all ages, while also standing out for her principled and demanding approach. In today’s world, such experienced and dedicated teachers are rare, and Püstəxanım holds a unique place among them.
Speakers at the anniversary event emphasized her professional and serious approach, as well as her tender and understanding nature. It was noted that she has illuminated the lives of hundreds of young people over the years, guided by the principle: “Iron is forged into a sword.”
The event was attended by her former colleagues—master educator Asif Jahangirov, Mr. Françusko Bançini, Director of the European Azerbaijan School, Ms. Amaliya, Director of the Pedagogical College, and other esteemed guests. On behalf of Hədəf Lyceum, heartfelt thanks were extended to all attendees.
Throughout the event, Püstəxanım’s inspiring work with the younger generation, her dedication to education, and her vital role in shaping the lyceum were honored with great respect.
As Hədəf Lyceum, we wish Püstəxanım a long life, strong health, and continued inspiration for future generations.
