Clubs at Hədəf Lyceum are voluntary, extracurricular activities initiated by students and teachers. Each club is assigned a teacher-advisor. To establish a club, the following are required:
A petition signed by at least 5 students from a minimum of 3 different classes
Written consent from the teacher-advisor
Approval by the School Leader (Məktəb Bilgəsi)
Clubs may operate after school hours or on Saturdays and Sundays under the supervision of the assigned advisor.
The purpose of organizing extracurricular clubs and workshops is to:
Develop students’ potential
Enhance awareness and deepen subject-related knowledge and skills
Foster creativity and practical application abilities
Clubs can be established based on student interest and volunteerism, and may operate for one or multiple academic years depending on their purpose and content. Clubs are open to students from primary, lower secondary, and upper secondary levels. Selection considers students' interests, talents, and intellectual abilities, regardless of grade. Each club should consist of at least 8 students, with a maximum of 15 members.
Club leaders are appointed and dismissed by official order of the school director.
Students participating in sports-based clubs must submit a medical certificate confirming their fitness.
The school leadership is responsible for ensuring the effective operation of all clubs.
General supervision of club activities falls under one of the deputy directors.
Clubs are evaluated based on participation in relevant activities such as exhibitions, competitions, tournaments, concerts, and academic olympiads.
In addition to budget-funded clubs, paid or volunteer-based clubs may be established in accordance with the school’s regulations.
