Series of Events Dedicated to Victory Day Held Across All Branches of the “Hədəf” Group of Companies

According to Media25, a series of events dedicated to the 8th of November – Victory Day – were held across all courses and lyceums of the “Hədəf” Group of Companies.

At the event held at the Central Branch, after the presentation by student hosts, the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, and the memory of our heroic martyrs was honored with a moment of silence.

The CEO of the “Hədəf” Group of Companies, writer and publicist Shamil Sadiq, emphasized that the historic Victory achieved in the Patriotic War was the logical outcome of the unity between the people and the army, as well as a triumph of the determination of the Victorious Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. He noted that today, extensive construction and restoration works are underway on our ancient lands, which once served as centers of separatism and terror, and the “Great Return” program is being successfully implemented. Modern educational, scientific, and cultural institutions are being established, and new schools and universities are opening on the liberated territories.

Recalling that 2025 has been declared the “Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty,” Shamil Sadiq reflected on the heroic history of our people and highlighted the selflessness shown not only on the battlefield but also on the home front.

Participants of the Patriotic War and veterans who took the floor shared their wartime experiences with the students, stressing that the future of our country depends on knowledgeable and patriotic youth.

During the event, short films and video clips dedicated to Victory Day were screened, and stage performances prepared by students based on Shamil Sadiq’s literary work “The Mulberry Tree” were met with warm applause.
