An event titled "Remembering Hüseyn Cavid" was held.

At the Hedef STEAM Lyceum, Absheron branch, Qurtulus campus, an event titled "Remembering Hüseyn Cavid" was held, dedicated to the 142nd birthday of the great Azerbaijani poet and playwright Hüseyn Cavid.

The event included discussions about H. Cavid’s works, and his poetry was recited by young students. Memories were shared in the voices of Cavid’s wife, Mushkinaz Khanum, his daughter Turan, and his son Ertugrul. A dynamic technique called "zeratma" was used to paint a portrait of the great writer. Teachers and students from the Lyceum performed scenes from Cavid’s works, "The Devil," "Mother," and "Sheikh Sanan." Characters such as Selma, Ismet, Ganpolad, Orkhan, Murad, and the Devil were portrayed. Throughout the performance, the influence of the Devil on people and how this influence led them astray were highlighted. In a powerful moment, Selma, in line with the idea, "Seeking revenge on someone who seeks refuge in you is a betrayal of your own dignity," ultimately forgives her son's killer.

At the end of the play, the song "Song of the Blind Arab" was performed. Concluding the event, Shamil Sadiq, founder of the Hedef Companies Group, Zulfiya Sadiqova, the official representative of the founder and project leader of Hedef STEAM Lyceum, and guests shared their thoughts on the event. We believe that hosting high-quality events like these plays a unique role in commemorating and ensuring the legacy of our great artists.
