COP29 and 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World"...

Today, under the leadership of Fatimə Kərimli, the academic director of the Hədəf High School Salvation Corps, and the presentation by the coordinator for parent engagement, Tuğay Abullayeva, a friendly event titled “EcoFuture: A Step for a Clean World” was held, dedicated to the conclusion of Ecology Month in relation to the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the Framework Convention on Climate Change – COP29 and the declaration of 2024 as the "Year of Solidarity for a Green World."

Let us not forget the value of all actions and small steps related to environmental protection and care for the environment. Let us appreciate every tree, every drop of water, and the air we breathe. Nature is not just our home; it is also the guarantee of our future.

During the event, geography teachers of classes 6a2, 7a2, and 8a3 organized an "Ecological Court" prepared by Tuğay Abdullayeva and Leyla İsal. During the court session, our students emphasized that each of us must take responsibility for treating nature justly. The students of class 3e2 presented a song in English.

Teachers from the STEAM and Computer Science departments, Pərvanə Məmmədova, Elcan Seyidov, and Arizə Gülməmmədova, showcased students' presentations titled "Smart Trash Bin," "Green World, Clean Energy," and "Green Robot." We witnessed once again that technology plays an indispensable role in protecting our nature.

Additionally, we watched a flash mob prepared by Sevinc Qənbərova, an English teacher from the Foreign Languages Department, along with the students of classes 6a2 and 6a4, and a short play presented by teacher Əsmər, teacher Fidan, teacher Çinarə, and the students of class 9R.

Finally, the Executive Director of Hədəf Schools, Nizami Hüseynov, and the Executive Director of the Hədəf STEAM High School Salvation Corps, Məmməd Məmmədli, were given the floor. Thus, we became familiar with the ecological projects carried out during Ecology Month, the events aimed at environmental protection, and the results of this magnificent month.

We observed the presentation of exhibition-format posters and wall newspapers created by the students of classes 8r2, 4e2, 1r2, 6a2, 2r2, 7a2, 6a4, 4r2, 7a2, 2a3, 4a2, 5e2, and 7a2, which highlighted how significant each of us is in the ecosystem.

Nature and ecosystems operate in unity. Every living being, plant, and animal has its role in the ecosystem. Therefore, our goal is not just to plant a tree, but to protect nature as a whole and maintain the balance of the ecosystem. For this, we need an educated, conscious, and supportive community.
