Azerbaijan–Turkey Brotherhood Match
At the Baku Sports Palace, the National Basketball Team of Azerbaijan hosted Turkey’s Nesibe Aydın Super League A-Team.
According to Hədəf Lyceum, the friendly match, organized on the occasion of Azerbaijan’s State Flag Day, became memorable not only for its sporting excitement but also for its strong message of unity and brotherhood.
The event was held in partnership with Hədəf Lyceum Stars Campus, and as a symbol of fraternity, the guest team took to the court wearing Hədəf Stars uniforms.
The game, which took place in an atmosphere of intense and engaging competition, ended with the victory of the brotherly Turkish team — 93 to 89.
At the conclusion of the match, the leadership of the Turkish team presented special gifts to the management of the Azerbaijan National Basketball Team. The President of the Nesibe Aydın Basketball Club, Mirkan Aydın, presented a commemorative plaque and the team’s jersey to Shamil Sadiq, the Founding Director of the Hədəf Group of Companies.
