September 27 - Memorial Day, let's not forget, let's not let it be forgotten!

September 27 is the day the Patriotic War began, a day when we commemorate our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our lands.

At all branches of the Hədəf STEAM Lyceum, a moment of silence was held at 12:00 to honor the sacred memory of our martyrs. During the first lesson at each of our branches, our teachers provided students with in-depth information about the significance of this day, the heroism demonstrated by our martyrs, and the brave soldiers who fought for the homeland. This day is not just a historical event but an eternal symbol of our nation's unity and struggle for freedom.

At the Nəsimi branch of the Hədəf Lyceum in Baku, a memorial event titled "My Homeland is My Country!" was held in honor of the Patriotic War martyrs. The event was officially opened with the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event featured speeches by Shiraz Hasanov and Nabi Shukurov, war veterans of the 44-day Patriotic War, Zulfiyya Sadigova, a representative of the founder, and Veli Velizadeh, executive director of the Nəsimi branch.
The lyceum's young students marched in front of the military tribune. Various performances and patriotic poems were presented in honor of Memorial Day. Finally, a military parade was held, with the National Flag of the Republic of Azerbaijan being displayed.

At the Hədəf Lyceum's Absheron branch, a "Memorial Day" event was held. During the event, our martyrs were commemorated, and the poem "Independence March" by Mehmet Akif Ersoy, as well as the song "The Black Sea Was Trembling," were performed. At the end, words were given to Elchin Guliyev, a member of the Public Council under the Absheron District Executive Authority, as well as to war veterans and comrades of the martyrs.

Students from the Hədəf STEAM Lyceum's Khatai branch visited the graves of the martyrs and delivered speeches about the history of the war and their heroism.
The bravery shown by our martyrs will always light our way, and we will never forget their sacrifice.

As Balabilgə Kindergarten, our main mission is to raise patriotic young citizens who are loyal to their country, nation, and state. By commemorating this sacred day, we understand the responsibility of protecting our homeland, entrusted to us at the cost of our martyrs' lives, and passing it on to future generations.
